10 Quick & Easy Fundraising Tips!

Here are some quick and easy fundraising tips that are sure to make your fundraising efforts for the Ontario Walk for Muscular Dystrophy a great success!

1. Start and Stop Dates
Set beginning and end dates so you know the exact time frame you're working within.

2. Set a Goal
Set an achievable yet challenging goal that will keep you motivated!

3. Start Early
Time gets away from the best of us. Don't procrastinate! Once you've set your Start date, start fundraising!

4. Be Informed
Make sure you know and understand your cause. Visit http://www.muscle.ca/ for detailed information.

5. Get Personal
Make sure to tell people your story and why fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy Canada is so important to you.

6. Fundraise Online
Register you and/or your team online today at www.muscle.ca/walk. Create and customize your fundraising page and invite others to join or sponsor you. Link your fundraising page to Facebook, twitter and more!

7. Talk, Talk, Talk!
Tell everyone you know and anyone else who will listen what you are doing and why fundraising for the Ontario Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is so important. People can't donate if they don't know about the event!

8. Be Creative
Hold your own fundraising event to raise money for one of the Ontario Walk for Muscular Dystrophy. Hold a Bake Sale, host a Fundraising Dinner, have a Skip-A-Thon, host a Games Night or even hold a Yoga class in a local park with proceeds going to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
